    Hello Skippers,

We have moved our event date from fall to spring in order to take advantage
of much improved wind speeds for our event. We will only host up to 30 boats,
so don't wait until the APRIL 11, 2015 deadline to send your forms in!

Event dates: Sunday and Sunday, April 25 & 26, 2015

Early check-in, possible measurement and practice racing will be available at
the Race Site on Friday afternoon, April 24, 2015.

Here is a link to the NOR for this event:

The NOR will also be linked from the AMYA Regatta Schedule web pages.
This is Eighth Annual Rio Grande Cup, the "Oldest RG65 Racing Series in
North America". We expect this popular event to be even better now that it
is scheduled for a time of year featuring much more favorable wind patterns.

The PDF version of our Notice of Race is a form you can fill out, print or save,
if you have a recent version of your pdf viewing software.

Here is map link that shows the northernmost pond at the Tingley Beach
Aquatic Park, which is our sailing location for this event:

We look forward to seeing you soon, and wish you clear winds,
    and good sailing,

    Peter E.

    Eighth Annual Rio Grande Cup for RG-65, April 25 & 26, 2015

Fifteen heats were sailed on Saturday under generally favorable winds.
Sunday’s racing added seven more heats under light winds before we quit
due to a persistent rainstorm. Many thanks go out to all of our members
who helped with this event, and special thanks go to Kathy Bailey
(Scorekeeper, arranged meals), Peter Roupas (organizing, measurements,
framed awards), Jim Scheibner (Race Director), Paul Boucher (photography),
and Earl Boebert (provided 1st place trophy).

First Place: Eric Rosenbaum with 18 points
Second Place: Kieth Radcliffe with 57 points
Third Place: Jim Mickelson with 77 points
Dragon Force Class, First Place: Richard Ball
Victor Rotolo Sportsmanship Award: David Woodward
