    I have started on a wood model of the H.M.S. Sovereign of the seas that I will use as a plug for a fiberglass hull.

    I have almost completed the plug (I went with foam instead of wood) any suggestions on how to make the mold would be appreciated thank you.

    The mold is done I made it out of fiberglass and more Bondo.

    I have got the lead for the drop keel a few days ago from a friend that races cars. He uses the lead to ballast his cars.

    the hull is almost done I need to make the drop keel, quarter galleries and paint it. I have estimated that I would need approximately four pounds of lead in the drop keel about ten cubic inches or 150 cubic centimeters.
