      Marc:

I read in one of your posts a year or so old now that you were going to make a Goth IOM from a female mold. How did that turn out? Any trouble getting the hull out of the mold, even without a stern since the boat has so much trumblehome from mid sections aft?

I ask because I have finished planking Frank Russell's new US1M version of the Goth. My test hull will be molded on top of the plug and roughed out into a boat so I can test the location of the fin, rudder and mast before committing to a socket stepped mast.

The final boat will come from a female mold done in Hydocal and either a hand lay up or vacuum bagged - not sure the minor weight reduction on a top of A rig boat is worth the extra expense of bagging.

      Any insights are welcomed.
